Sleeping beauty is a portrait of a sleeping Koala on a tree feeling absolutely relaxed. I collected the Koala reference for this painting from Lone Pine Sanctuary. Recent devastation caused by bushfires compelled me to paint this painting. All other branches and background references were collected around Brisbane western suburbs and then combined on the painting.
